There are only two more sleeps until Christmas and things are getting very exciting. I’ve had a very busy day. We went to the shop to buy turkey and a thing called ham which is made from pink cows and smells really nasty. I’ll stick to the turkey. When we were there I bumped into my friends Anna and Alex. Anna won an art competition recently so she’s definitely on my favourite people list, I’m hoping she can do portraits of me! I was a bit embarrassed because my outfit wasn’t perfect but it was good to see them ๐ I had a little accident with my Santa outfit this morning. I spotted some chocolate on a high shelf and decided to climb up but I got caught on some holly and I ripped my pants!!!! I had to borrow some jeans from Ted until Mummy sewed them back together for me ๐
I spent most of the rest of the day being driven around to visit people. I had lots of time to think properly about Christmas, I came up with a great new plan… Because we wrote letters, Santa has to come to our house. I was going to make sure all the doors and windows are locked so that his only way in was down the chimney. Where I would have had a large net ready to catch all his presents ๐ There was only one problem, I needed someone to help me buy the net… This is where my plan fell apart. I made the mistake of telling Ted about my plan and he told my parents. Apparently he was worried about all the little children who might not get their presents if I kidnapped Santa. Ted always spoils my plans…
So back to square one. Apparently plotting an ingenious kidnapping is classed as ‘being bold’. And bold children don’t get presents from Santa. This secret list of bold things that only my parents seem to know about always seems to be growing… I must find and destroy it soon! So for the next two days I’m going to be extremely good. I’ve started with bribery, I’m leaving a carrot near the chimney in case Rudolph tries to check up on us tonight ๐
I’m off to bed now, I think I might try to sleep all the way through to Santa time!
